David’s general and civil litigation portfolio includes representing clients in cases involving breach of contract, breach of trust and/or fiduciary duties, strata management disputes, land matters including compulsory land acquisition, and torts including negligence, nuisance and trespass.

He has regularly appeared in land reference proceedings at the High Court, representing corporations on whose behalf the acquisition proceedings were instituted. He has and continues to represent major utility companies in Malaysia in diverse aspects of their operations.

David has an active portfolio and has been recognised by his peers and clients in the area of employment law. In addition to representing clients in court, he advises on employment related issues such as dismissal, reorganisation and retrenchment, voluntary separation scheme and trade union disputes.

David obtained his LL.B. (Hons) from the University of London and went on to obtain a Certificate in Legal Practice. He has been an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya since 2011.
